Are esigned signatures legally binding?
In the United States, the ESIGN Act and UETA give electronic signatures the same legal standing as handwritten ones when the signer agrees to sign electronically and a record is kept. esigned captures that consent and record. Whether a waiver holds up also depends on its wording and local law, so have a lawyer review it.
esigned isn't a law firm and this isn't legal advice. Rules differ by state and country, and some documents, like wills, can't be signed electronically.
What esigned does is keep the evidence: each signed PDF carries a certificate showing who signed, when, from where, and that they agreed to sign electronically. See What does esigned record when someone signs?
